I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for ways to make my life easier. Here are a few things I’ve found help me feel less stressed…

1. Automated bill-pay. I used to be so good about remembering due dates for bills. That was before I had a child. Now time slips away and I find myself sorting the bills and realizing that I haven’t sent in a payment yet. Yikes! I’ve found that setting up auto-pays for our bills is a great time saver, sanity saver and check saver!

2. If your coffee maker has a programmable feature, use it. I always prep our coffee maker the night before since nothing makes for a stress-free morning like a freshly brewed pot just waiting for you. Plus the aroma drifting through the house can help wake you up in the morning.

3. Cut up a lemon into wedges/slices and place in food storage bag in the fridge. Whenever you drink a glass of water, pop in a lemon slice. Ready to go and the fresh lemon is a nice treat and pick-me-up.

4. Before you go to bed, take five minutes and clean, straighten, de-clutter a small area. Whether it’s clearing off the coffee table, sorting the mail, or emptying the dishwasher, it can make a big difference the next day.

5. Enjoy some fresh air! Not only will you get outside, you’ll probably end up getting in some exercise as well. Take the kids to the park, go for a bike ride, take a stroll with work buddies during your lunch hour, do whatever it is you enjoy doing.

These are just a few little things that go a long way in my crazy, busy world! What are some of your time-savers/de-stressers?
